Nanting Feng, Personal Dashboard
This project was created for a design studio course, based on a brief to design a visually elegant and responsive dashboard for managing multiple projects across devices.
The outcome is a responsive dashboard designed for users juggling everything from daily tasks to long-awaited travel plans. It turns complex information into clear visuals, making it easy to track goals, timelines, and tasks. The travel section offers an immersive, structured layout for organizing destinations and itineraries.
By combining core UI principles with a refined aesthetic, the design ensures clarity, consistency, and functionality across all screen sizes.
Nanting Feng, Smart Water
A playful hydration app that turns drinking water into a daily adventure.
Through gamified challenges and ocean-themed badges, users stay motivated to drink more water, while friend connections foster a sense of community.
The design process began with user research. Final high-fidelity prototypes were created in Figma, focusing on clarity and interactive flow. Usability testing helped refine the experience, ensuring it’s both functional and engaging.
Nanting Feng, Inclusive Gallery Design for Sensory-Sensitive Visitors
A sensory-responsive lighting system designed for the NGV Salon to support sensory-sensitive visitors.
Instead of relying on static tools like sensory maps or restricted hours, this project explores a real-time solution: an adaptive lighting environment that dynamically dims and adjusts color based on visitor proximity and movement.
Paired with a wearable device and intuitive customization features, the system empowers visitors to personalize their sensory experience—minimizing visual overstimulation while guiding calm, focused engagement with artworks.
With a social impact focus, the design transforms dense gallery spaces into inclusive, comfortable environments for all visitors.
Nanting Feng, Website Redesign
This project is a redesign of a coffee e-commerce website, aiming to turn a complex decision into a guided and enjoyable experience.
It transforms lengthy, text-heavy content into an intuitive filtering system, simplified product views, and clear visual guidance—helping users explore, compare, and select coffee with ease.
Nanting Feng, Bubble Notes
An AI-powered note-taking app designed for the messy brilliance of creative minds.
Instead of rigid folders or static lists, Bubble Notes captures fleeting thoughts through voice input and lets users organize them using intuitive gestures like tilt and proximity. Built with ProtoPie, the prototype explores advanced sensor-based interactions and smooth micro-animations that reflect the organic flow of ideas. Bubble Notes turns creative chaos into calm, structured clarity.
