Jingkang(Kevin) Xu, Seeing

“Seeing” captures the juxtaposition of emotions I felt during the exhibition Disobedience Archive (The Zoetrope). One video deeply moved me, evoking profound sadness through its contrast of orderly and chaotic countries. The next day, I saw a warm scene of a family—simple yet powerful—sharply contrasting the prior day's emotions. It reminded me of the preciousness of peace and how hard-won it is. The heaviness lifted, replaced by gratitude and a renewed sense of resilience and hope.

Inspired by the title sequence of catch me if you can. Used different elements and simple lines as the title sequence of shadows of the golden gate.

Jingkang(Kevin) Xu, Merchandise of SheCycles

This branded merchandise set was created for SheCycles, a cycling app and community designed to support and empower female riders in Melbourne. The set includes a T-shirt, stainless steel bottle, keychain, badge, and ID card — all featuring a bold, energetic visual identity. The designs aim to foster belonging and recognition in public spaces. Created digitally using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, the merch complements the broader UX and app ecosystem developed in the project.
