Meghna Mazumdar, A Bundle of Apps
The goal of this project was to transform the design of mundane apps, such as the Timer and Weather apps, from being purely functional to visually unique and fun to use. By combining neobrutalist UI design elements with character illustrations, "A Bundle of Apps" aims to create an enjoyable experience for users.
Meghna Mazumdar, MasterWorks
MasterWorks is a mobile app designed for a special exhibition presented by the MOHA Museum. This app allows users to purchase merchandise featuring artworks by the showcased artists, with options to include personalised messages. The featured artists for this project are Zdzislaw Beksinski, Dragan Bibin, Ken Currie, Julia Soboleva, and Wayne Barlowe. The visual style of the app is inspired by the artworks of these artists.
Meghna Mazumdar, Prospr
Prospr is a student engagement tool that uses an AI companion to help students process their learning and turn everyday moments into meaningful insights. Students choose from four AI Gems, each with a distinct personality, and through conversation generate weekly and monthly reflections that build into a clearer picture of their progress. Additionally, staff have access to valuable student data on their dashboard, allowing them to identify signs of disengagement sooner rather than later.
Meghna Mazumdar, Onward
People with social anxiety often struggle with exhausting, repetitive safety behaviours before leaving for an event. Onward gives the preparation ritual a hard structural limit and rewards its completion with crucial reminders, such as their personal reasons for attending, past evidence that counters their anxious thoughts, and specific social objectives to focus on during the event. After the event, users receive a single reflection prompt to help gather evidence for future interactions. Over time, the app identifies patterns, gradually reduces its support, and ultimately aims to make itself unnecessary.
