I am a multidisciplinary designer with a background in UI/UX design, visual storytelling, and digital experiences. My work explores how design can create meaningful connections between people, information, and culture through interactive systems and engaging interfaces. I enjoy combining illustration, branding, and user-centred design to transform complex ideas into accessible and memorable experiences. From cultural heritage storytelling to weather applications and maker communities, my projects focus on creating experiences that are both functional and emotionally engaging.

Wentong Jing, CraftNest

CraftNest is a digital platform that connects online handmade selling with local maker markets in Melbourne. Designed for independent creators, it combines product showcasing, market discovery, and stall applications into one connected experience.
The project uses a warm, handmade-inspired visual language featuring illustrations, paper textures, and market-themed elements. By bringing together online visibility and offline opportunities, CraftNest aims to make it easier for makers to share, sell, and grow their creative practice.

Wentong Jing, Weather App

Weather APP is a mobile weather application designed in Figma that combines accurate weather information with a playful illustrated experience. The project explores how weather data can be presented in a more engaging and emotionally appealing way through dynamic backgrounds, seasonal colour palettes, and a friendly mascot character. Users can view real-time weather conditions, hourly and weekly forecasts, air quality data, and manage multiple cities. The interface also supports Celsius and Fahrenheit switching for international users.

Wentong Jing, MOHO Gallery

MOHA Galley is a museum exhibition app designed in Figma, inspired by the Baroque use of light and shadow. The app allows users to explore artists, discover artworks, read interpretations, and purchase exhibition-inspired souvenirs. Through gold ornamental details, soft gradients, and classical patterns, the interface recreates the atmosphere of walking through a museum gallery. The project combines artistic storytelling with UX/UI design to create an immersive digital experience where light reveals art, history, and emotion.
