Participants sought: Investigating serum zonulin levels in patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction

Healthy Volunteers Needed
We are interested in detecting a protein involved in controlling gut leakiness in patients with gastrointestinal disorders and in healthy individuals. This will help us determine if the protein is a useful marker of disease
As part of this research, volunteers will:
- Refrain from consuming gluten for 3 hours
- Complete a short health survey
- Have 30ml (2 Tbsp) of blood taken
- Are between the ages of 18 and 35
- Are in good health with a healthy immune system
- Have no known gastrointestinal conditions, autoimmune disorders, kidney disease, diabetes, or active infection
- Do not believe that you have a sensitivity to gluten and are not on a gluten-free diet
- Are living in Melbourne, Australia
