Jessie Lu-Lee joined the Transfusion Research Unit in 2026 as Program Manager for the BloodCare Centre of Research Excellence. Jessie also contributes to major malaria research initiatives at the Burnet Institute and The University of Melbourne, including the Malaria Synergy Program and the Australian Centre of Research Excellence in Malaria Elimination (MASTER-MAP).

She brings extensive experience across the health, research, and not-for-profit sectors, with a strong focus on project management, stakeholder engagement, and program coordination.

Jessie has a background spanning clinical research environments and large-scale program delivery, with qualifications in psychological science, counselling, and event management, supporting her interdisciplinary approach to research translation and capacity building.
