Neil has over thirty five years blood sector experience, including roles in plasma fractionation at CSL and senior roles in laboratories, manufacturing, quality assurance and transfusion medicine at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

Neil has managed projects and consulted on regulatory matters for local and international manufacturers of cellular therapeutics. He conceptualised and developed ERIC, a web-based wastage reporting system used in hospital transfusion laboratories across Australia.

As the International Humanitarian Blood Advisor at Australian Red Cross, Neil has provided advice on blood safety and effectiveness across Asia and the Pacific and managed complex programs across the region.

Neil holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and Graduate Diplomas in Computing and Organisational Change.
