Women's Health Research Program
We undertake research and provide education about common health issues that affect women throughout adult life. Our research program includes studies to determine the health care needs of younger women, women at midlife and older women. We have unique expertise in hormone action, deficiency and therapy. Our aim is to enable women to experience the best possible quality of life through research, critical evaluation of available information and professional and community education.
We're part of the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
The Women's Specialist Health Clinic at the Alfred Hospital offers specialist health care for women experiencing a range of endocrine and hormone related conditions.
