Ms Claire Ferres Miles

Ms Claire Ferres Miles is Founder of strategic advisory Curiosity Co and Chair of Place Leaders Asia Pacific. She wakes up every day with a goal to work with great people to achieve great things, and is driven by purpose and service, knowing the best decisions start with listening.

She has held positions as Chief Executive Officer of Sustainability Victoria and Interim Chief Executive Officer of the City of Melbourne. She has held executive roles in State and Local Government, Transport for London and the private sector in sustainability, transport, infrastructure, city planning and place, business development and community engagement.

Ms Ferres Miles was recognised in 2023 as the Monash University Distinguished Alumni for the Faculty of Engineering, and is a Victorian Fellow, Institute of Public Administration Australia (2019).

Ms Ferres Miles’ work bridges the gap between government, industry and community, leading research, writing strategy, analysing data, turning complex policy into clear insights and approvals, translating great ideas into outcomes.

Ms Ferres Miles is a community activist and connector, in the belief that answering complex questions starts with listening to community knowledge and insight. She has spent decades volunteering as President of Selby Primary School Council, Upwey Toy Library and Sherbrooke Children’s Centre, Co-Founder of Voices of Casey and Founder of Casey for YES.
