Ms Anne Valentine Andrews
Anne Valentine Andrews, Managing Director, is the Global Head of Infrastructure & Real Estate at BlackRock which currently manages over $55 billion in client commitments and comprises 350+ professionals across 25+ cities globally. Anne is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, leading growth initiatives and business management, product strategy and business development.
Anne has played an instrumental role in the development of the Infrastructure & Real Estate businesses since she joined in 2014, serving as Global Head since 2021, Deputy Global Head since 2019 and previously as Chief Operating Officer. During Anne’s leadership of the platform, the business has accomplished the following:
- Top 10 Infrastructure Manager by AUM
- Top 50 Real Estate Manger by AUM
- Global Energy Transition Investor of the Year (2023)
- Oversubscribed in recent funds: GEPIF III, GRP III, CFP, GIS4
- Two acquisitions: First Reserve Infrastructure and I Cuadrada in Mexico
In addition to her strong business acumen, Anne is an avid supporter of DEI initiatives and promoting women across BlackRock and in the industry:
- Founder and executive sponsor of “Women in Real Assets” – connecting women across BlackRock Real Assets to establish a close-knit support community and provide tools and insights into managing their careers.
- Active member of CHIEF – an invitation only club for women in C-suite or rising VP levels to gain connections and support to advance careers.

Anne also serves on BlackRock's Global Operating Committee, the Human Capital Committee, and the Equity Private Markets Executive Committee.
Prior to joining, Anne was Co-Head and Chief Operating Officer for the Morgan Stanley Infrastructure platform. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2006, she was a director at Macquarie Bank in both Melbourne and New York. She began her career as a corporate attorney in Australia.
Anne earned a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Law with Honors from Monash University. She was also awarded a Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University, Australia.
She was recognised as a Fellow of Monash University in 2016.
Anne lives in downtown Manhattan with her husband and four children.
