She is a published author, consultant, in the 0.01% of women to start an advertising agency, a speaker and a mother to two school-aged daughters.

She was the youngest female Creative Director in Australia when globally only 3% of women made it to that position.

A trailblazer and innovator, she has been recognised for her work as a strategist and as a champion of change and for female leadership.

She has received creative awards for her advertising campaigns on brands like AFLW, Holden, Virgin, Cadbury and Qantas.

After becoming an Executive Director at the agency that launched Virgin Airlines in Australia her entrepreneurial mindset kicked in and she gave up trying to change outdated agency cultures to embark on building her own.

Eighteen years later her agency Venus Comms has been at the forefront of recognising the wealth and value of female consumers.

Her agency has worked across all categories including government and education, consumer goods and retail where she has delivered double-digit growth to her clients.

Ms Brideson has been on the Board of Shebah Rideshare, and currently serves on the Board at Shelford Girls Grammar, For Films Sake and is a founding member of the reference group for Women’s Health Victoria in the Shequal program.
