Ms Corinne Proske

Ms Corinne Proske is the Chief Executive Officer of Trust for Nature, one of Australia’s oldest conservation organisations. The Trust works in partnership to accelerate private land conservation in Victoria and helps landowners protect nature on their property. The Trust has partnered with more than 1,500 Victorians to protect more than 116,000 hectares of native habitat in Victoria.

Ms Proske completed a Master in Environmental Science at Monash University where she researched the market demand for ethically screened superannuation funds. She is passionate about ensuring nonfinancial value is understood and included in how we do business. Seeking to make a difference with her leadership, advocacy and strategic marketing skills, she has a deep and long-standing commitment to protect nature.

Previously, Ms Proske led several not for profits focused on social and financial inclusion, including a digital start up, Speckle Loans. Prior to that, she spent 13 years with NAB in business banking and social responsibility, where she was responsible for NAB’s $130 million financial inclusion programs that focused on helping low-income Australians access financial service, in addition to helping the bank become carbon neutral.

Ms Proske is a Director of the Australian Land Conservation Alliance and The Catholic Development Fund and volunteers for Impact Investing Australia. She has a further 10 years’ experience in consultancy with Ernst & Young and PwC, and also worked for the Department of Family and Community Services. She was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2009, and a MoneySmart award for her contribution to financial literacy in 2013, and is a CPA and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

A proud mum, Ms Proske can be regularly found camping, running and surfing with her son.
