Mr Chris Dance is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of PaperCut Software, a global leader in print software dedicated to helping organisations reduce their environmental impact. The company now serves 80,000 educational institutions and businesses across 192 countries. The idea for PaperCut was born during Mr Dance's final year at Monash University when working part-time as a system administrator at Parkdale High School, he identified the need for a simple print management solution. Since its humble beginnings, PaperCut has grown to assist millions of users in managing their printing needs with ease and efficiency.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr Dance is passionate about supporting future entrepreneurs and the next generation of Australians in the technology sector. He regularly shares his experiences and insights to inspire others to pursue their dreams in tech.

Mr Dance is also an accomplished sailor, having won numerous national and world championships in Dinghy Sailing Classes. He was honoured as a Monash University Blue for his contributions to sport. His journey reflects a blend of technical expertise, passion, entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to nurturing future talent.

As a proud Monash University alumnus with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering, Mr Dance is honoured to be part of the Engineering Student Graduation Ceremony, where he hopes to inspire the next generation of engineers to embrace innovation, sustainability, and a lifelong passion for learning.
