Alok Kulkarni

Mr Alok Kulkarni is the Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of software company Cyara, whose Customer Experience (CX) Assurance platform is used by more than 300 global brands.
Mr Kulkarni founded Cyara in 2006 in Melbourne with Luan Tran and Bonny Malik, with the vision that an easy-to-use CX Assurance platform could help enterprises be confident that they were delivering great customer experiences each and every time.
Cyara has grown steadily since its founding, adding new products and teams around the world to help realise this vision.
The company’s headquarters are now in Silicon Valley, and it received Series A funding in 2016.
Cyara is the category leader in CX assurance and is trusted by the world’s best-known enterprises.
Mr Kulkarni speaks regularly at industry and partner conferences, and gave the keynote address at a graduation ceremony for Monash Information Technology and Engineering students in May 2019.
Prior to Cyara, Mr Kulkarni was the Director of Solutions Engineering at Genesys, where he led the team that architected contact centre solutions for the Asia Pacific market. He also held roles at National Australia Bank, NEC, and others.
Originally from Mumbai, Mr Kulkarni moved to Melbourne with his family as a teenager. Mr Kulkarni has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering with Honours from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Technology from Melbourne Business School.
He is proud to serve on the Forbes Technology Council, where he contributes articles focussing on the contact centre industry, customer, employee, and agent experience, and remote work.
Mr Kulkarni’s passion for entrepreneurship and giving back led him to become a director at TiE, a global non-profit organisation dedicated to giving back by helping entrepreneurs. As part of his work at TiE, he mentors Australian entrepreneurs and is responsible for corporate memberships within the TiE Melbourne chapter.
Mr Kulkarni is married with two sons and his passions include all things technology, travelling, spirituality, and lifelong learning.
