Michelle Jablko

Ms Michelle Jablko joined Transurban in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer.

Ms Jablko has a wide portfolio of responsibilities, from finance, corporate finance and treasury, through to legal and corporate affairs.

Prior to joining Transurban, Ms Jablko was Chief Financial Officer at ANZ Bank for just under five years, through a period of significant change for the bank, including a reweighting of the portfolio and the sale of around 20 non-core businesses and assets.

That followed more than fifteen years of experience in investment banking with UBS and Greenhill Australia as a Managing Director working across a vast array of industries, providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital management, funding and investor relations.

Early in her career, Ms Jablko was also previously a lawyer with Allens where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, tax and banking and finance law.

Ms Jablko graduated with First Class Honours in Law and Honours in Economics from Monash University. She spent six years at Monash University in the early to mid-1990’s, including two years as a tutor in the Economics Department.

Ms Jablko has fond memories of her time at Monash University. She loved the diversity of the university and is grateful for the opportunities that her education has provided.

Education continues to be important to Ms Jablko, and she sits on the School Council at Bialik College.

Ms Jablko grew up in Melbourne, and continues to live there, with her husband and two teenage children. As a family, they enjoy travelling, especially to Italy.
