Mr Clive Weeks AO completed a Civil Engineering degree in 1968 and Master of Engineering Science by Major Thesis (Evaluation of the Factors Affecting Residential and Industrial Water Use) in 1971 at Monash University. After a period working with local councils in Northern Victoria and lecturing at Swinburne College, he joined GHD (formerly Gutteridge Haskins and Davey), Consulting Engineers, in 1972.

He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia, the Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.

He was Monash Civil Engineering Alumnus of the Year in 2004, joined the Engineering Foundation Board in 2006, was awarded a Faculty of Engineering Monash Medal in 2011 for service to the University, and joined the Advisory Council for the Monash Infrastructure Institute when it was formed in 2017. He sponsors a scholarship for the Engineering Faculty Leadership Program “Leadership in a Technological Environment” each year.

Since 2013 Mr Weeks has been Chairman of the AG Coombs Group Pty Ltd Board and was President of the Rotary Club of Melbourne 2012 to 2013 and is still involved in its Committees and volunteer work. He was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow in 2013 and is a member of the Paul Harris Society which supports Rotary's philanthropic projects.
