Ms Angie Scanlon
With a strong corporate and commerce background, Angie has had a broad career in business, holding senior financial and commercial roles in several large corporations, including Lend Lease Employer Services, KONE Elevators and Elders International Wool P/L.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce - Deakin University and was formerly a Fellow CPA.
Angie has extensive experience in all business finance functions including reporting, governance, delivery of forecasts, budgets and long-term plans, while ensuring performance aligned with targets. Her commercial experience included General Manager Finance and Operations of Australia’s largest payroll company.
Currently, Angie is Chairperson and co-owner of a Fintech start-up, specializing in digital incentive programs.
Angie is a keen supporter of local community interests, including youth training and education. This has seen her as a Director of The National Theatre, as well as engaging and participating in several programs with St Kilda Youth Services (SKYS – now Melbourne City Mission).
Angie is also an avid supporter of Italian culture and nurtures a deep passion for all things Italian. Having spent a significant amount of time in Florence over the past 20 years, she has established a strong relationship with the Monash Prato Centre, as well as cultivate relationships with other local Florence institutions.
Angie continually endeavours to conquer the intricacies of the Italian language with great perseverance.
