A bold vision and unflappable determination are two things that come in handy when you’ve set your mind on changing the face of children’s education.

MWorld is the product of a team of Monash University staff and alumni, led by alumnus and the University’s Director of Innovation, Justin Bokor (GradDipArts 1996).

MWorld is an interactive world of learning like no other. Delivered as a tablet app, it unites gorgeous multimedia presentations, enthralling gameplay, and engaging, peer-reviewed content from a host of brilliant Monash’s academics.

Designed for children aged 8-12, MWorld divides the amazing world we live in into ten broad categories – animals, art and music, the natural world, the modern world, early civilisations, language and culture, and more.

There are 50 titles available in the first release, with many more in production on topics like ‘How to Build a Race Car’, ‘Ancient Egypt, and ‘Fangs – How Do Animals Eat’.  Knitting it all together is an innovative game system designed to keep youthful minds engaged and, more importantly, reinforce their understanding of the topics.

Unlike other educational platforms out there, MWorld doesn't grab the stale air of a textbook and stuff it into a computer tablet.

Instead, MWorld immerses kids in an exciting universe of challenge, creativity, exploration and friendly competition.

“MWorld makes learning fun”, Mr Bokor said.

“It rewards curiosity and effort, and from everything we’ve seen, kids can’t get enough of it – exactly what you want for an educational product!

"Even the adults love it.”

MWorld is being launched soon, and will include a special promotional offer for Monash alumni.
