What does your gift to the Achieving Potential Scholarship Fund mean?
At Monash, we want the connections forged during a student’s time at university to last a lifetime, and empowering our alumni to help the next generation of Monash students is a crucial part of that mission.
Now in its third year, the Monash University Alumni Outreach Program gives you the opportunity to hear from a current student about life at Monash in 2017 as well as the chance to give the gift of education to those most in need.
Our Achieving Potential Scholarship Fund is backed by alumni donors and provides scholarships to students from asylum seeker backgrounds, rural areas, and disadvantaged communities. We’re proud to say that one hundred per cent of the money from your gift goes straight to scholarships.
Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to increase the number of scholarships offered by 144 per cent in 2017, creating more opportunities to make real world impact on our students’ lives.
We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the program so far and are delighted to share with you Achieving Potential scholar, Namik Perera’s story about what your gift means to him.
