Macro, International and Growth (MIG)
Members of the Macro, International and Growth (MIG) research group produce both theoretical and empirical research on topics covering monetary and fiscal policy, growth, labour, housing, and international macroeconomics. This research is based on micro-founded principles using aggregate household, firm, and government-level data to generate insights. These insights inform policy across a range of areas, including education, housing, trade, industry structure, production, competition, regulation, and monetary and fiscal topics.
The MIG group organises a weekly external seminar and co-organise yearly international conferences and workshops in collaboration with other Australian Universities.
