When designing workplace programs to promote gender equity, we must focus on the lived experience and needs of our colleagues, and be mindful of differing individual circumstances, so that they all have a chance to thrive. Only then do we truly #EmbraceEquity in the workplace.

Monash University's annual IWD event

7 March 2023
We're proud to host our 5th annual International Women's Day event in collaboration with Monash Law and Monash Arts. This year a panel of Monash University alumni and esteemed female leaders – The Hon. Gabrielle Williams MP, Kylie Watson-Wheeler and Bedi Othow – share personal stories of challenging gender stereotypes, changing the status quo, calling out bias and seeking inclusion. The global theme for this year’s celebration of International Women’s Day is #EmbraceEquity.
