The timetable for postgraduate students works a bit differently from undergraduate. When building your personal timetable, you should check the postgraduate timetable for when your streams are being offered and select your preferences on Allocate+. Please note that students taking masters elective units will be auto allocated as there is only one stream per unit.
Juris Doctor students who need to change stream must apply to the Postgraduate Student Services by submitting the online application to change Seminar Stream/Tutorial Group along with the supporting documentation.
Deferring your offer after accepting and enrolling in units
If already enrolled, you must defer your offer before the earliest withdrawn early end date of your units. You need to discontinue from all units using the Web Enrolment System (WES). See discontinuation dates for undergraduate students and discontinuation dates for postgraduate Law students .
Once your deferment is approved we will send you a deferment letter.
For more information on deferment, please refer to Monash defer your offer page.
If you discontinue a unit, there are significant dates in terms of how a discontinuation may affect the way in which this unit is recorded on your academic transcript.
For undergraduate students, please refer to the University's census dates.
For postgraduate and Juris Doctor students, the University's census dates do not apply. It is important that you refer to the faculty's unit discontinuation dates for the relevant dates for postgraduate anad Juris Doctor units (including intensive and trimester-long). If you are enrolled in intensive, semi-intensive or summer elective units, they will follow other teaching periods.
