As a designer, I help create experiences, memories, and influence emotion – it’s my responsibility to connect with people on an interpersonal level.
Understanding your client, the users of a space, the environmental position and the geographical location of a project is what differentiates ordinary design from good design. I believe my classes at Monash set a solid framework for successful design implementation by focusing on design research and process – they showed me the foundation of ‘good design’.
Architecture really is a universal language. After graduating with my Master of Architecture, I relocated to Dubai where I worked amongst 23 other nationalities, amidst five different spoken languages in the office at Woods Bagot.
