Co-designing spaces, services and systems

Spaces, services and systems

With a deep understanding of complex stakeholder communities and engagement with future and emerging technologies, this work is centred on co-designing new models and systems of care.

We work across complex healthcare ecosystems to design new spaces, services and systems for health and care. Co-designing with multiple stakeholder groups, incorporating the inputs of consumers, carers, clinicians, governments, technologists, industry and other actors, we are able to design optimal health futures that are safer and more equitable, integrated and sustainable.

Our partners in co-designing spaces, services and systems include Turning Point, Alfred Health, Silverchain, Monash Health, Safer Care Victoria and the National Centre for Healthy Ageing. We have led the statewide co-design consultation for the Hamilton Centre, Victoria’s system for integrated care of mental health and addiction; Alfred Health’s Ngamai Wilam (Victorian Residential Eating Disorders Centre); Alfred Health’s Universal Design Principles; and are leading the redesign of subcutaneous immunoglobulin use as part of the 5 year OPTIMAL: OPTimising Immunoglobulin Management in Australia Centre of Research Excellence.

“Leah is a true visionary and a leader in design for health, bringing a wealth of experience in human-centred co-design and system innovation that has helped us at Turning Point reimagine and deliver more integrated, person-centred care for people facing the complex challenges of mental health and addiction.”
