Members of the interdisciplinary research team associated with the ‘Accessible Gallery Experiences for Blind or Low Vision Audiences’ project will share creative outcomes and findings from their ongoing research partnership with the Bendigo Art Gallery and Vision Australia. As part of this interactive session BLV participants are invited to engage with innovative technologies to support accessibility-focused, multi-sensory strategies.

Vince Dziekan is a Senior Academic and Practitioner-Researcher at Monash Art Design and Architecture. His work engages with the transformation of contemporary curatorial practices at the intersection of emerging design practices, creative technology and museum culture.

Jenna Hall is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) at Monash University, Australia. Her practice-based research explores engagement in museums through design, with a focus on the relationship between slow forms of engagement, inclusion and wellbeing.

This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2023, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
