This exhibition emerges from Brandi Salmon’s Master of Fine Art research into (re)presentation and Blak presence within Western art history. Through large-scale oil painting, digital works, and banner installations, Brandi reframes canonical imagery while engaging with relational approaches to practice, informed by the Indigenous Design Charter. The exhibition brings painting, projection, and screen-based works into dialogue, challenging colonial visual systems and offering new ways of seeing, grounded in Aboriginal identity and presence.
