Advancements in generative machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) models have dominated the discussion around computational creativity in recent years, prompting speculation into potential applications in design and architecture. In this project, we partner with Lendlease Digital Delivery to investigate avenues to integrate these new technologies into a ‘design for construction’ pipeline. Our goal is to develop prototypical digital tools, capable of ‘proposing’ viable design alternatives, based on design value and performance, to be used as a starting point for architects to build upon.
