Monash University’s Future Building Initiative (FBI) worked in collaboration with industry partners A.G. Coombs and Lendlease Digital Delivery, supported by the University of Melbourne to spearhead research efforts aimed at assessing the contemporary landscape of Lean principles and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) knowledge within the construction sector.

The insights were distilled into a framework for self-assessment and a conceptual roadmap for implementation, tailored for companies seeking to embrace Lean and DfMA methodologies. This research initiative was financially supported by Building 4.0 CRC.
