This cross-sector collaboration aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, facilitating an increased adoption of digitally integrated building and offsite construction in Victoria.
Among the three sub-projects, the Future Building Initiative (FBI) led sub-project 1: ‘Off-site and Modular Construction Hubs’. The findings of this project were utilised to align government and industry imperatives for establishing and sustaining a robust, digitally integrated building industry in Victoria. We worked with many partners on this project, including A.G. Coombs, Fleetwood Australia, Victoria State Government Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions, Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV), the University of Melbourne, and Ynomia, to name a few.
