City Lights is a cluster of empty signs that celebrates the unintended beauty of the industrial, conveying the passing of time and random complexity of urban life.

Inspired by signage discovered during the artist’s meanderings, the lighting sequence inside the empty lightboxes generates floating abstract drawings that suggest connections between people, places, commerce and infrastructure in the modern city.
