Dr Savindi Perera is a Research Fellow at the Future Building Initiative lab at Monash University, involved with a Building 4.0 CRC Lighthouse Project#03. Her background is in Quantity Surveying. She was employed as a lecturer at the University of Moratuwa and has experience in the construction industry working at a cost consultancy firm in Sri Lanka.

Savindi holds a PhD degree from the University of Melbourne. Her research developed a technology acceptance framework for adopting Construction 4.0. Her research has a theoretical and practical contribution, providing unique insights for construction firms navigating digital transformation. She has worked with a wide collaboration network, including the University of Melbourne, Deakin University, RMIT University, and the University of Manchester, UK. Her research interests are in the fields of advanced construction technology, socio-technical systems, technology acceptance and adoption, and research and development.
