Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand (BRANZ)
The Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand (BRANZ) is a clinical quality registry capturing epidemiological, quality of care, and outcome data for adult and paediatric burn patients across Australian and New Zealand burn units.
We're part of the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
This project is a collaboration between the Australian and New Zealand Burn Association (ANZBA) and Monash University, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. We’ve generated significant improvements in both burn injury prevention and patient care.
The BRANZ dataset is a unique resource for projects, and de-identified data is available upon request, and in compliance with ethics guidelines.
Data collectors at participating ANZBA hospitals in Australia and New Zealand enter burns patient data into the BRANZ database.
