About us

We are a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to advancing the field of pharmacoepidemiology through methodologically rigorous and clinically meaningful research. Our core mission is to improve the Quality Use of Medicines by investigating how medications are used, their safety profiles, and their effectiveness in real-world settings.

Our research is driven by a strong foundation in advanced pharmacoepidemiological methods, including the analysis of large-scale linked health datasets, causal inference techniques, and real-world evidence synthesis. We also integrate mixed methods and qualitative approaches to capture patient, clinician, and system-level perspectives.

By combining quantitative and qualitative methodologies, we aim to generate actionable insights that inform clinical practice, health policy, and guideline development. Our work spans diverse therapeutic areas and populations, with a particular focus on medicine safety, equity, and resilience in healthcare systems.
