About Us
The Monash Proteomics & Metabolomics Platform (MPMP) is a mass spectrometry based analytical platform established at Monash University in 2004. MPMP provides researchers from within the Monash Network as well as non-Monash academic and commercial organisations access to state-of-the-art mass spectrometric technologies. These technologies allow the accurate analysis of proteins, metabolites and lipids from diverse sources allowing their identification, characterisation and quantification for wide range of studies and research outcomes. The platfrom employs trained and qualified staff and is committed to providing clients and collaborators with a service of the highest quality. Excellence and quality are paramount through all stages of the research, industry uptake and collaborative processes as recognised by Monash University.
The facility provides services in:
- Qualitative proteomic analyses
- Quantitative proteomic analyses (label-free and label-based)
- Protein characterisation
- Cross-linking mass spectrometry (CX-MS)
- Analysis of post-translational modifications (PTMs) such as phosphoproteomics
- N-terminal sequencing
- Comparative metabolomic and lipidomic analyses
- Targeted Metabolomics
- Olink Proteomics Technologies
QUALITY: As part of the Monash Research Platform Network, we are committed to providing excellence and quality through all stages of research, industry engagement and collaborations. To achieve this objective, we have implemented a platform quality management system that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
