How to apply

- Check that you meet all requirements
- Apply directly to Monash
If you’re located in Crimea, Cuba, Donetsk, Iran, Luhansk, North Korea, Syria or South Sudan, you’ll need to apply for a course through a registered Monash agent (or an IDP office in your region if a Monash agent isn’t available).
Application dates
Application dates vary by faculty but generally open early August. For course-specific closing dates, please check with the faculty
As an international student, you can apply for a place anytime throughout the year. Teaching starts:
- Semester one (March)
- Semester two (July)
Entry requirements
You should ensure you meet all the entry requirements for the course and for general entry to university. Some courses have extra requirements such as a folio, personal statement, interview, etc.

Credit for prior learning
If you have passed units at other tertiary institutions, you may be eligible for a credit transfer. You need to apply before enrolling in a course. For details, see credit for prior learning.
