How to apply
Application dates
Timely applications through VTAC open early August and close in late September. There are also late and very late application periods with higher fees. For a full list of dates and fees, see VTAC dates and fees.
Change of preference
Once you apply through VTAC, you can add, remove or re-order your course preferences in your VTAC course application during the specified periods. See VTAC change of preference dates.
Entry requirements
You should ensure you meet all the entry requirements for the course and for general entry to university. Some courses have extra requirements such as a folio, personal statement, interview, etc.

Special entry program
Domestic applicants may be eligible for one or more special entry programs when applying through VTAC or the online form. For details see:

Credit for prior learning
If you've passed units in the Monash Extension program or at other tertiary institutions, you may be eligible for a credit transfer. You need to apply before enrolling in a course. For details, see credit for prior learning.
