Age requirements for admission
At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age, unless one of these two criteria applies:
1. You will be 16 years of age at the time of enrolling at university and you have either:
- a VCE ATAR of 95 or higher or equivalent rank in another qualification recognised by Monash or
- approval of the Dean of the faculty
2. You will be younger than 16 years of age at the time of enrolment, but you have both:
- a VCE ATAR of 95 or higher or equivalent rank in another qualification recognised by Monash and
- approval of the Dean of the faculty
If you do not meet the above criteria, the faculty may offer you a deferred place, which you can take up when you meet the age requirements.
