This three year Australian Research Council (ARC, project # SR200200311) funded project addresses the challenges that gender exclusive practices in jazz and improvised music pose to the diversity of the Australian music industry. Funding recipients include academic experts from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance and Faculty of Education.
