Learn to apply this perspective to business practice and problem-solving, with the option to tailor your studies to specific areas of business, like accounting, finance or marketing.

The Bachelor of Digital Business is simultaneously delivered across Monash’s Caulfield and Malaysia campuses, offering a unique opportunity to travel between campuses and experience university in another country. Some units are also delivered jointly online, so students from both campuses can attend tutorials together and collaborate as part of a digitally dynamic global classroom.

Prerequisite: English level 1 Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 27 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL
Assumed Knowledge: Maths level 2 Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 22 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics or at least 25 in Maths: General Mathematics
VTAC subject bonus: A study score of 30 in Accounting, Business Management, Economics or Maths: General Mathematics equals 4 aggregate points per study. A study score of 30 in Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics equals 6 aggregate points per study. Overall maximum of 8 points.

English Test Level: Level A IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test.
The course develops through the themes of specialist discipline knowledge, additional discipline knowledge, and in addition includes elective study.
Part A. Specialist discipline knowledge
These units will develop your capacity as a critical, creative and ethical professional. With an emphasis on decision-making and the management of digitalisation within organisations, you will be proficient in utilising your extensive knowledge of digital business to formulate solutions for business challenges.
Part B. Additional discipline knowledge
These additional units will allow you to delve deeper into areas of interest. The units present an avenue for you to enhance your expertise and understanding within a distinct functional domain, thus providing a comprehensive insight into the implementation of digitalisation tailored to specific business functions. Some units are highly immersive and offer you the opportunity to leverage digital skills to address societal or business problems.
Part C. Free elective study
These are free electives which will enable you to further your knowledge of digital business, or business more broadly, or to select units from across the University in which you are eligible to enrol.
