Krongold Clinic

Our services

The Krongold Clinic provides a range of psychological services, with a particular focus on educational and developmental psychology.

What is educational and developmental psychology?
Educational and developmental psychology focuses on how people develop and learn throughout their lifetime. Educational and developmental psychologists work with individuals, families, groups, and organisations in a range of settings and have varying roles such as school psychologist, guidance officer, and child and adolescent counsellor.

As a low-cost clinic, we tend to have a long wait times for clients to be allocated to a Higher Degree Intern. However, if time is of importance, private clinicians may offer shorter wait times - they can be found at the Australian Psychological Society Find a Psychologist page.

As a university-based clinic, practice at the Krongold Clinic is informed by the latest research. Our relationship with the university also allows the Krongold Clinic to maintain lower fees by providing a facility where Higher Degree Interns can practice under supervision. All work by HDI’s is reviewed by supervising psychologists.

As a Monash University facility our clinic also exists to improve knowledge and research. During our provision of services to you, you may be asked to assist us in our research and teaching. At no time is any service to any client conditional to give any such permission. This will be explained to you in more detail at your appointments
