STEMM Women Academic Network Advisory Group Membership
The purpose of the STEMM Women Academic Network (SWAN) Advisory Group is to help shape the Network’s objectives and focus in alignment with the principles of Athena SWAN, and the Network’s vision to “Empower, Connect, Thrive.”
SWAN Advisory Group members are academic staff employed at Level A-E; Australia; appointed via an expression of interest selection process for a 2 year term. The Advisory Group members attend scheduled meetings 4-5 times a year to offer valuable input and support in advancing the Network’s goals and vision.
The Network Advisory Group comprises:
- Network Chair;
- Appointed representatives from STEMM faculties;
- Athena SWAN Steering Group Chair; and
- Director, Staff Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

All members of the SWAN Advisory Group have terms from January 2025 - December 2026. Members (except those mentioned below) were appointed after a Expression of Interest and Selection process was completed in late 2024.
The Chair, Athena Swan Steering Group is an ex officio members of the SWAN Advisory Group.
