We have on campus childcare centres as well as parenting facilities.
Parents and carers can further benefit from attending workshops on managing transition to and from parental leave, including sessions for partners, irrespective of their gender.
Supporting LGBTIQA+ Staff
We recognise and celebrate the rich diversity of our community at Monash, including our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse, queer and questioning (LGBTIQA+) staff.
To cultivate an inclusive culture, Monash operates the Ally Network and have over 200 Allies among our staff, including HR staff. Resources surrounding LGBTIQA+ Staff Inclusion can be accessed via Staff Diversity and Inclusion unit.
Our partner organisations understand the importance we place on inclusive practice - their services and products are inclusive of LGBTIQ staff, their partners and families (e.g Bupa, Medibank Private, UniSuper).
