Trimester Two final exams will take the form of eExams with online supervision.
Here are some frequently asked questions.
A range of measures are in place to support students who may not have the devices necessary to complete eExams.
Students who are concerned that their device does not meet requirements can request a loan device at no cost. Loan devices are limited and must be collected and dropped off at the Clayton campus.
To request a device: contact the eSolutions Service Desk now. They’ll assess your device’s suitability to run a supervised eExam and, if necessary, help you arrange a loan device.
Students who do not have suitable spaces or technological requirements at home to sit their exams can request a place on campus to sit their exams.
To request an on-campus exam: Submit an application for special arrangements for JD Law Trimester assessments.
Students with disabilities may apply for alternative assessment arrangements, as is usual practice.
This process is overseen by Disability Support Services and implemented by Monash University Online Assessment and Integrity Services, the part of the University responsible for administering JD final assessments.

If your internet connection drops out during your eExam – your eExam responses are automatically saved every 30 seconds.
Students who experience serious disruption during their exams (for example, a technological issue) may apply for special consideration in the usual way.
A supervised exam ensures all students have a consistent opportunity to succeed and that our exams are conducted in a fair and ethical manner. Online supervision is being used to protect students by removing the possibility of some students gaining an unfair advantage over others and undermining everyone else's hard work.
The ability to respond to complex legal issues in a time-sensitive environment is an essential skill for graduates to ensure they are prepared for a career beyond their graduation.
Although our supervised exams are open book, it is still expected that most students will require a significant amount of exam preparation in order to achieve satisfactory results or above.
