About us
We are Australia’s leading research group for industrialised building. Our design-focused approach co-develops building delivery systems appropriate to the 21st century.
Our research improves how Australia’s buildings are built and the quality of the resulting built form. We believe in deep collaboration, working on applied research projects with industry, community, and government stakeholders, as well as workingcollaboratively with facilities across Monash University including engineering, business and IT. Further, we are creating new educational content to support the existing industry and the next generation of built environment professionals.
We believe that through good design — industrialised building can deliver better buildings for all. We work with our partners to co-develop high-quality, efficient, and creative solutions that tackle today’s issues in response to challenges of climate, affordability, in ways that are human-centred and contribute to environmental regeneration.
