Eureka Prize

Landmark sexual health research wins top science prize

Melbourne Sexual Health Group won the 2026 Eureka Prize for bacterial vaginosis research. Led by Professor Catriona Bradshaw, Dr Lenka Vodstrcil and Dr Erica Plummer, the team’s findings are changing how this common condition is understood and treated.
