Hands on Health

Monash Hands on Health

Hands-on Health is an educational program that broadens horizons and supports students in Years 9 to 12 from underrepresented communities in tertiary education. At Monash Gukwonderuk, we believe that everyone should have equal opportunity throughout their journey into medicine and health sciences. This includes the whole process, from exploring possible careers in health sciences; making informed decisions about courses; navigating the admissions process; to finally enrolling as a student at Monash’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

Our vision is to create a diverse health workforce that is representative of the communities it serves.

To participate you must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, from a refugee or asylum seeker background or from low socioeconomic circumstances.
