This one-hour session delivered at your school will give you a unique insight into what it’s like to study and work in the health sciences. You will hear from a Monash health sciences student about their experiences, and have a chance to ask questions that can help with your VCE subject selection and decision-making. You’ll also experience a practical session where you’ll investigate anatomy models and learn about health screening, including blood pressure and muscle testing.
Work Experience Program
Spend a week in a busy hospital setting at Dandenong or Peninsula learning about the many exciting career paths in medicine, allied health and pathology. You will interact with healthcare professionals and medical students, witness medical observations, participate in handson clinical skills workshops and be fully immersed in the hospital working environment.

Join Monash medical students from all year levels for a group study session at Clayton campus. You’ll have the chance to preview life as a medical student, and go on a tour of the facilities on campus.
UMAT: The Road to Medicine
Spend a full day at Clayton campus and find out all you need to know about applying to study medicine. Teaching staff and students will discuss the entry requirements and preparation techniques for the Undergraduate Medicine and Health sciences Admission Test (UMAT).
