Testimonials

The NCHA Data Platform has transformed the way data is requested and has provided for seven pharmacy research projects to date in 2023. The request process is clear, standardised and streamlined. The turnaround time to obtain a curated dataset is efficient and much more rapid than the specified four-week timeframe. One of the most important aspects of the process is the availability of and access to the data operations manager. The virtual consultations systematically clarify, for both the researcher and data operations manager, what data is available and possible to be provided. The final dataset is explained in detail to the researcher, giving in-depth understanding of the steps taken to ensure data relevance and quality. Further questions or consultations are welcomed at any time... One of the key benefits identified is the time saved by researchers from less manual data search and entry. The pharmacy department will happily continue to utilise the data platform and expertise of the data operations manager.

Gillian Oates and Sok (Leng) Cam, Pharmacy Department

The data provision and consultation process offered by the National Centre for Healthy Ageing (NCHA) have been pivotal in shaping our team's health services research. The depth, clarity, and granularity of the data have enabled in-depth analysis in our research of the Community Care program, a health independence program specific to Peninsula Health. The NCHA comprehensive insight into data allowed us to identify significant trends, and address patient care gaps. The NCHA's dedication to promoting research collaborations shone throughout our time with them, and their insights have proven invaluable. Our collaboration extends beyond mere data exchange, focusing on harnessing it to effect meaningful changes in healthcare.
