The Department of Forensic Medicine works in close partnership with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine to develop the next generation of leading forensic practitioners. We're also at the forefront of research into preventable deaths and injuries.
We're part of the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
About us
From examining the premature deaths of aged care residents to the inappropriate prescribing of drugs, our research has been contributing to public health policies and evidence-based practices for more than two decades.
Courses
We provide high-quality training in areas including family violence and postmortem CT interpretation. Our unique masters program equips professionals with advanced expertise in the forensic medical, dental or science fields.
