Dr Maggie Kirkman awarded inaugural Champion for Women

We were thrilled to see Dr Maggie Kirkman honoured as one of the inaugural Champions for Women by Women's Health Victoria recently. Maggie was selected in recognition of the notable impact of her research on legislation and practice. The awards formed part of the group's 25th anniversary celebrations, during which they honoured 25 women who have contributed to Victoria and to the field over the last 25 years.

Maggie's fellow Champions include the current Victorian Attorney General, the Hon Jill Hennessy; CEO of the Victorian Assisted Reproduction Treatment Authority, Louise Johnson; Leader of the Reason Party, Fiona Patten; and former Minister for Health, the Hon Mary Wooldridge.
